Karkwa - Les Chemins de Verre

French Radiohead, what else do I have to say. Karkwa was named the winner of the fifth annual Polaris Music Prize. These guys are seriously very good, a few other songs that I am rather fond of from these guys are 'Marie, Tu Pleurs' and 'Dors Dans Mon Sang'. Enjoy!

Sorry if I havent been keeping my blogs maintained lately, I've been very busy!

Belle and Sebastian - Fox in the Snow

These guys are out of Scotland, with both male and female vocals they're quite the group. Processing a very smooth relaxing sound, which is something I would gladly fall asleep to. Let me know what you folks think!

Alexander - Truth

You might recognize the vocals for its the lead singer(Alex Ebert)from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Anyhow, this is a side project for the group and it sounds pretty spiffy. Let me know what you folks think, cheers.

LCD Soundsystem - Someone Great - Home

Was following these guys for a long awhile- although, ill admit; you might have heard of them. LCD Soundsystem had a popular song called 'All My Friends', but I am pretty sure that was in the UK a few years back. Anyway, when I finally got the chance to see these guys I had never seen so many people dance at the same time in my entire life, the whole experience was quite fantastic.

LCD Soundsystem - Someone Great

Found an awesome music video cut to old german si-fi.

LCD Soundsystem - Home

Caribou - Odessa

Caribou is a fellow Canadian named Dan Snaith. I havent been listening to much of his music or for very long (maybe about a month or two) but this particular song is probably my favourites. Definitely quite an odd song which I find rather appealing, let me know what you folks think. Cheers.

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - Janglin

Well, im sure you guys have heard of this group- or at least heard their song 'home'. Their a odd bunch (seriously check out some of their live performances they're fucking weird), but produce some pretty good music. Check out of course 'home' if you havent heard it already, and '40 day dream' is pretty good too.

The National - Im Afraid of Everyone

Only managed to see these guys once, despite being one of my favourite groups I could not enjoy them. Why? Well i saw them play at Sasquatch music festival with some friends, I was tripping serious balls and was having multiple heat strokes so I had this raging headache through out the entire set and had to pack it in early. Pretty much all of their songs are excellent, fake empire, england, and conversation 16 are some of my favourites.

The Radio Dept. - Heaven's On Fire

Very catchy song, cant for the life of me remember where I heard this song. Anyhow, The Radio Dept. was formed in Sweden about 15 years back, and seem to be quite a talented bunch. Let me know you're thoughts friends.

100 FOLLOWERS!! The XX - Do you Mind? - Fantasy

Now im pretty sure you have heard these guys, it seems like everyone has, since everything they made get remixed or raped/rapped over on hypem and whatnot. I have been following these guys for about a year now, way before everyone got into them and posted 'crystalized' on their walls with the caption 'HERP DERP HAVE U GUSYS HURD OF DIS COOL BAND I FIND CALLED XX DURRR?' and now thinks they are indie as fuck. Anyway, despite their slight popularity they're a very legit band- seen them twice now.

Also, thought id share this second song 'fantasy', probably one of the coolest songs to chill out whilst baked, crank the bass way the fuck up for this song and you'll understand. If you a fan of dubstep and are totally gay for bass let me know what you think, cheers.

I also want to thank everyone has who followed me, your pretty rad I guess.

Dead Man's Bones - Pa Pa Power

Ryan Gosling's (murder by numbers, the notebook) band. Aside from acting turns out the man can also sing. This and 'my body's a zombie for you' are some very good songs.

Oceansize - Music for a Nurse

Hey folks, sorry If I let you down when I assumed you didn't know of massive attack- anyway, heres a song that I really doubt you have heard. They are a English band formed out of Manchester. Enjoy!

Massive Attack - Splitting the Atom

Was following these guys for a few months before I saw them at Sasquatch music festival, I thoroughly enjoyed them whilst tripping serious balls. Massive attack also composed the song 'Tear Drop' which is the theme music for the intro of the popular show House.

M83 - Lower your Eyelids to Die with the Sun

This was the song that was featured in 'Fully Flared', probably one of the best skateboard intros of all time, I advise you to look it up. Theres a lot of explosions and skaters doing tricks over them and what not. Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if any of you have heard this but if you havent you should because it is the most epic song of all time.

TV on the Radio - Staring at the Sun

You might have heard about TV on the Radio, but chances are you have never heard there older stuff which I think to be the best of their work. This song 'Staring at the Sun' is off their EP 'Young Liars'. I might post up more from that EP in the future, its all very good.

The Middle East - Blood

Hey, so this is a pretty good band. This particular song was on the soundtrack for a movie called 'accidents happen'. But I knew about them before I watched it so whatever.

Active Child - Wilderness

Hey conformists, so this a band called active child and they're pretty good i guess. I personally have been following them for months, and they've started to get pretty popular- so whatever. They are now touring with the band broken bells and they are still worth a good listen.
